Tommi Buser

Noticed
his affinity for sound and vision as an adolescent, and continuously
educated himself in technical knowledge and practical experience
after the Matura. A solid technical education at the SRG for
Big Band, popular and classical music groups, followed by
2 years of musicals and concert tours. Afterwards 7 years
as sound engineer at the Tonstudio Basilisk and Eoscop, where
he was independently responsible for voice-over production,
dubbing, re-recording, film sound editing 35/16mm, as well
as advertising spots. |

The
urge to work independently lead to the foundation of Park
Lane Studios, which he has been directing since 1980. Due
to the general computerisation, he developed and expanded
his know-how in the area of multimedia and the internet. In
spite of all the technical aspects, what rests at the centre
of attention is the human being. “I find it exciting
to bring out the interpreters’ best. The technical aspect
is merely a means to an end.” Following the encounter
with Benno Hungerbühler, exciting synergies in the area
of film sound and production of music emerged, which are actively
cultivated ever since.
